I made Christmas ornaments for everyone this year

My mom taught my sister how to make her famous Christstollen this year so I made them each a miniature. Stollen is a German fruit bread of nuts, spices, and dried or candied fruit, coated with powdered sugar. You have to be on the list to get one of my mom’s.
I used white pastel to create the powdered sugar and sprayed it with a fixative before applying the Sculpey satin glaze.
For my dad I made a cardinal, for when they’re not visiting the feeder.
I use different brands of clay like Sculpey and Fimo, I have mixed brands and haven’t had any problems.
My nephew got a red gummy bear. Looks like someone got a bite!
I added a sheen using Pearl Ex pigment powder, Interference Red. It’s a fine grained powder and I rubbed it on before I baked the bear.
I made the numbers by first rolling out a sheet of clay and then cutting them out with an Exacto knife.
And my brother-in-law got a Captain America shield.
I also used pastels and Pearl Ex pigments to accent the ornament. I glaze all of my ornaments to protect the surface and enhancements.
